Heavy-Duty Expandable Crowd Control Barrier

The Heavy-Duty Expandable Crowd Control Barrier is designed for temporary crowd management, public-order operations, emergency cordons and restricted-area control. Its expandable scissor-style structure allows a long barrier line to be deployed rapidly and folded into a compact form when transportation or storage is required.

The main structure is manufactured from 201 stainless steel and finished with a durable black baked coating. Multiple rows of reinforced crossbars create a rigid and visually substantial boundary suitable for demanding public, commercial and industrial environments.

High-visibility yellow reflective strips are installed on the vertical posts. Warning messages, organization names, project information or other text can be customized according to customer requirements. Additional reflectors are positioned on the upper sections and wheel assemblies to improve visibility in low-light and nighttime environments.

Swivel brake casters allow personnel to move and position the barrier in different directions. Once deployed, the caster brakes help reduce unwanted movement and keep the barrier in its intended position.

To simplify transportation, handling and storage, the barrier can be manufactured as modular sections in lengths such as 4 metres, 6 metres, 8 metres or 10 metres. Connection fittings allow multiple sections to be joined into a continuous barrier line. This modular configuration is suitable for large government, event, infrastructure and public-safety projects requiring extended perimeter coverage.

The expanded length, collapsed dimensions, barrier height, stainless steel profile, material thickness, wheel configuration, reflective markings and printed warning text can all be customized according to project requirements.

How It Works

1. Move the collapsed barrier section to the required deployment area.
2. Release the storage lock or retaining device.
3. Pull the end frame to expand the scissor structure.
4. Position the barrier according to the required boundary.
5. Apply the caster brakes.
6. Connect additional sections where extended coverage is required.
7. After use, release the brakes, disconnect the modules and collapse each section for storage.
